5. Shop, customer account and WooCommerce

Our shop may use WooCommerce. This involves processing data required for the cart, checkout, customer account, orders, invoices and order history.

When you create a customer account, we store the necessary details so you can manage your orders, billing information and account details.

When creating an account, you must also confirm that you have read the privacy policy. This confirmation helps us inform you transparently and is recorded in connection with your account.

6. Payment processing

Payment information may be transmitted to the payment service providers enabled in our shop. The providers used depend on the payment methods offered, such as credit card, PayPal, Stripe, TWINT or comparable services.

The privacy policies of the relevant payment service providers also apply.

7. Shipping and fulfilment

For physical products such as the Doplock Card, we may share your name, address and order details with shipping or fulfilment providers where necessary for packaging, shipping, delivery or tracking.

When you visit this website, the hosting provider may store technical access data in server logs. This may include your IP address, date and time, browser type, operating system, referring URL and files accessed.

This data helps us operate the website securely and reliably and investigate errors.

Launch updates and newsletter

You can separately subscribe to launch updates about the shop opening, new products and collections, and to the Doplock newsletter with news, tips and offers. An email address can belong to either or both categories. We store your email address, signup time and the confirmed consent for each category, including its time and wording, in our WordPress database. New or expanded subscriptions are activated only after you confirm your selection using the confirmation email.

Earlier signups solely for the one-off shop launch email are not automatically added to recurring launch updates or the newsletter. Emails are sent through our configured email service. The delivery history records which message was handed to the mail server; no open or click tracking is included.

You can unsubscribe from each category individually or from all marketing emails using the links in our emails, or contact support@doplock.com. To prevent abuse, we use temporary IP identifiers derived using a secret key. No IP addresses are stored in the subscriber list. Unconfirmed new signups without an active subscription are automatically removed after 30 days without a new request. Completed earlier one-off launch signups without another active subscription are removed after 90 days. Active subscriptions remain until you unsubscribe. Once a contact is fully removed, the technical delivery history no longer contains their email address.

11. Disclosure to third parties

Personal data is shared only where necessary to fulfil a contract, provide the website, arrange shipping, process payments, provide support or comply with legal obligations.

12. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purposes or as required by law. Order and invoice data may therefore be retained longer than general contact enquiries.

13. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or unlawful disclosure.

These include encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS), strong password requirements for customer accounts, access restrictions, technical security headers and organisational safeguards for user and order data.

15. Product information

Doplock currently supports Apple/iPhone. Android is not yet supported and is planned for a later date. Features may vary depending on your device, operating system, shop configuration and app version.
